When the United Nations (UN) Secretary General, Antonio Guterres opened the 74th UN General Assembly in New York – he called for urgent change to prevent our planet from being derailed by climate change, launching a ‘Decade of Action’.

For #GreenActionWeek 2019, 30 September to 6 October, 26 members are running projects in 23 countries organised around this year’s theme, Sharing Community – action to promote the importance of sharing and collaboration within local communities to reduce unsustainable consumption globally.

Throughout the week, we will be showcasing the new ideas, insight and innovations that are delivering impact and progress towards SDG 12 – Sustainable consumption and production patterns, from Green Action Fund projects, our wider membership and other stakeholders committed to building a more sustainable world for consumers.

See below for more information on how you can take action.
